"MACRA is going to impact each provider in a unique way. But, the first step is to understand the rule and how it might affect you."
Overview
Get All the Information You Need to Move Ahead and Succeed with MACRA!
Since the release of the Final Rule in October 2016, healthcare providers have been keenly analyzing the impact of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) on their practice. However, a recent survey by Medscape revealed that almost 9 out of 10 physicians have little or no knowledge about MACRA. That’s an alarming number considering that physicians are to participate in the model starting this year.

The passage of MACRA means physicians are either complying with the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) or ensuring enough of their patients are enrolled in an advanced alternative payment model (APM). If you’re in for MIPS, you need to report on quality measures, follow improvement activities or programs similar to meaningful use with your EHR to get a composite score.
