Review Coding and Reimbursement Changes and Policies for Pediatric Urology

Proper coding for pediatric urological services and pediatric urological surgical procedures requires compliance with highly technical rules that don’t always align with coding for similar procedures on adults.

This informative session by industry veteran Michael A. Ferragamo MD, FACS, will address issues and review recent coding and reimbursement changes and new policies for pediatric urological services and urological surgical procedures.

You’ll get coding tools, tips and specific guidelines necessary to provide accurate diagnoses and procedure coding for both simple and complex pediatric urological surgical procedures. Common and not-so-common pediatric services and surgical procedures will be presented in a case-by-case clinical scenario and a format to allow attendees test their coding skills.
