Worksheets that directly support method SOPs with requirements for specific entries and with witness, verification and review lines, standardize data recording, simplify QA audits, and make transition to electronic notebooks or execution systems much simpler. The net result is a prompting system, defined entries, and a much efficient process resulting in reduced review time, corrections and paper handling.
In this session expert speaker Edward F. O’Connor, Ph.D., will demonstrate how to prepare worksheets that call out method SOP requirements for data entry, in logical and chronological order. The presentation will cover all—from reagent prep to data analysis, acceptance and release. Edward will explain how to prepare the worksheet in Word and Excel formats, using by hand, keyboard, scanner or camera entries. The goal of the session is to present a format that can be easily transitioned from hand entry to scanner entry without loss of information.
