In ICD-10, the traumatic fracture codes are found in chapter 19 – Injury, Poisoning and Certain Other Consequences of External Causes (S00-T98). Chapter 19 uses the S-section for coding different injuries related to single body regions, and the T-section to cover injuries to unspecified body regions, as well as codes for poisoning and certain other consequences of external causes.
