There are rules and guidelines of when you can and cannot bill for supplies used in the office as well as braces, crutches, and other devices that may be supplied to the patient. This conference will focus on how to assign HCPCS codes to supplies that can be reported, and the references available to know when something cannot be reported. Speaker will also discuss a process that has been used in a large orthopedic practice to be able to manage inventory, and assign the appropriate fees for each supply or device dispensed from the practice.
This 60 minute event will leave you with a general understanding of what can be used to determine the appropriate HCPCS code and then utilize that for inventory and usage information. This will allow you to implement a good system to manage the supplies and devices being used for maximum reimbursement.
