Product Description

Understand the Challenges and Find the Solutions in Designing Superbills with ICD-10 Codes.

Unlike ICD-9, ICD-10 is more descriptive and intuitive in regards to diagnosis coding. Since it is more specific, Superbills – be they electronic or paper – must reflect this specificity. The sheer increase in the number of codes will make designing Superbills more challenging. Along with this, it is going to be important to make sure the most commonly billed diagnosis codes are displayed along with common required links.

In this conference Dr. Dreama Sloan-Kelly, MD, CCS will share tips on how to create the diagnosis portion of the Superbill (be it electronic or paper) with ICD-10 codes. You’ll find out how to locate commonly billed diagnosis you need to convert to ICD-10 codes. Also, get guidelines for proper diagnosis code selection based on ICD-10 rules to ensure that codes are being billed to the highest level of specificity. Plus, find out free websites that give you access to ICD-10 codes online.
