The cost for implementation of the ICD-10 system will be discussed as well as the negative financial impact on collections if a facility or practice is not prepared for ICD-10 on 10/1/15.
The upcoming switch to ICD-10 from ICD-9 is paramount in deciding the future course of your practice. This session is intended to provide the participants with expert knowledge on the impact of ICD-10 on their practice and how to prepare for the upcoming transition.
In addition to this, the attendees will get to know about the major differences in International Classification of Diseases, 9th Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM) and International Classification of Diseases,10th Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) will be presented. Susie will also discuss coding scenarios using ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS.
