Strategies for Reporting Your MIPS Data to Avoid Payment Cuts

2017 was the first reporting year for the new Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). Under MIPS, failing to report your data will result in a 4% Medicare pay cut in 2019. The reporting deadline is March 31, 2018, there is hardly any time left. If you haven’t reported yet, you need to act NOW! Report your practice’s data immediately, without any further delay, to allow time for any last minute problems. You must ensure you have the latest information about how and what to report for each of the three MIPS categories.

Join this session with expert speaker Jeanne Chamberlain to learn the basics of the MIPS program, with a focus on the minimum requirements, to avoid a 4% Medicare pay cut in 2019. You will learn how and when you need to report your MIPS data to CMS. You will also learn what documentation you will need if you are selected for an audit.

Through this session, Jeanne will help you identify which of your providers must report MIPS data to avoid a pay cut in 2019. You will be able to select the best reporting option for your situation and meet the deadlines for submission. You will learn what you need to do to meet the best practices for documenting and maintaining data for use if you are audited.
