Comply with the New SNF Survey Requirements of Participation in 2018

As of November 28, 2017, a new survey process has been initiated for the skilled nursing facility (SNF). This new survey incorporates the phase-2 requirements of participation (RoP), and though there is a moratorium on fines and penalties, the facility will still be cited if compliance is not met. As the process is a combination of the quality indicator and the traditional survey, every state will be facing a new process.

Join this session, where expert speaker Marilyn Mines will prepare you for the changes your skilled nursing facility will be facing in 2018. Marilyn will discuss how to manage your facility and staff during the new survey that will be conducted this year.

You will be able to understand and utilize the knowledge to prepare the staff, residents, and visitors, to be comfortable with the new tools and processes during the annual complaint, or revisit survey. Marilyn will focus on observations and interviews, so that facility staff become comfortable in their daily routine and are able to respond with confidence when questioned by the team.
