Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) continues to be the most overarching and all consuming of the recently enacted Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs).
Many hospices have layered the new QAPI requirements on top of what was previously their CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) process while focusing only on the clinical side of the operations.
This layering makes for a less than efficient and effective QAPI program.
You need to understand and, more effectively, implement an organization wide QAPI program. This audio seminar, with expert Charlene Ross, will provide you with an understanding of the significance of the QAPI regulations in the daily operations of their hospice program.
Charlene will look at the CMS focus on the Cycle of Care which lays the foundation for improved patient outcomes which can begin to prepare your hospice for public reporting. You will learn how to incorporate data currently collected into your QAPI program.
PLUS: Charlene will provide you with these forms that you can use as tools for your QAPI program:
Here's a look at what Charlene will cover:
Who should attend? Administrators, clinical leaders (patient care supervisors or managers, director of clinical services, etc), individuals responsible for the QAPI program and or compliance.
