Currently, Medicare Advantage Plans do not cover hospice care. When an individual with a Medicare Advantage Plan decides to elect the Medicare Hospice Benefit, he or she typically dis-enrolls from the MA plan and can then elect any Medicare-certified hospice agency without any network restrictions.

This session by expert speaker Gloria A. Turner will discuss the implications for hospice patients, families and providers. She will cover the various challenges this change could present for providers. Gloria will also provide vital tips on what hospice providers should do today to better position themselves for this possible change in the future.
