Join this session, where Michelle Crowell, BSN, RN, will focus on the newly-required public reporting items in hospice—such as, the hospice item set (HIS), consumer assessment of healthcare providers and systems (CAHPS), Edmonton symptom assessment scale (ESAS) measures, and visits made at the end of life. This session will cover the hospice compare website and how all these items will affect possible reimbursements to the hospices in the future.
With this session, you will learn how hospice quality reporting and monitoring items will affect your hospices in the upcoming years. Michelle will give more insights and suggestions to help you better prepare your agencies.
