Boost Your MIPS Performance—Optimize Your ACI

The Advancing Clinical Information (ACI) performance category of Medicare’s Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) is weighted at 25 percent of the overall score. In other words, it’s important! ACI plays a significant role in determining the performance of Advanced Alternative Payment Models. And, notably, it replaces the Meaningful Use of Certified EHR Technology incentive program with a performance-based one. So it’s time to start aiming for maximum bonus scores under this new program.

Join compliance professional Michael Marron-Stearns, MD, CPC, CFPC for an in-depth look at the relevant aspects of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Payment Program 2018 Final Rule. Michael will explain the ACI that is actionable at your facility, how your ACI score is determined, and how you can optimize performance and scoring at your facility. The session will focus on common challenge points for ACI performance and will provide improvement recommendations.

After attending this session, you’ll be better equipped to evaluate best practices for the EHR that will lead to top scores, implement continuous monitoring of performance, and conduct necessary interventions.
