Product Description

Learn the right way to bill screening-turned-diagnostic colonoscopies -- or risk your reimbursement.

A majority of insurances follow Medicare rules for processing of claims in a variety of areas. If a carrier publishes that they follow Medicare rules for processing of endoscopy procedures, then we need to understand, and look at those rules. These areas include:

  • Processing of multiple endoscopy procedures for payment.
  • Use of modifiers – both in multiple procedures and in discontinued procedures.
  • Screening vs. diagnostic and what to do when the first turns into the second.
  • Global day assignation – most endoscopy procedures are listed as having 000 days on the MPFSDB.

Know, what Medicare rules are, and how can you obtain this information from payers and what you should do with that information — are all that you will get answers at the conclusion of this seminar!
