In this session, food labeling specialist Natasha Rowley-Phipps will review the regulations, communicate compliance dates, and explain how to become compliant. She will discuss the required elements for compliant labeling and how you can get the information as well as keep your information accurate. It is important to understand these regulations, where to find the information, and what is coming with new regulations for the packaged food requirements that could impact restaurants in the future. Natasha Rowley-Phipps has more than 20 years of experience in food quality, nutrition labeling, manufacturing and research. Natasha graduated from Kansas State University receiving her B.S. in bakery science management with further studies in a master's program of cereal chemistry.
