This webinar by expert speaker Natasha Rowley-Phipps will provide background information for you to understand the definition of sweeteners and the current labeling regulations. Hot topics that surround GMO, evaporated cane juice, and low carbs today, will be discussed. That, and labeling, nutrition declarations, and warning label that have been proposed, will also be a topic of discussion in the session. Natasha will also briefly provide an overview of sweeteners and talk about its link to obesity.

Who Should Attend
Natasha Rowley-Phipps has more than 20 years of experience in food quality, nutrition labeling, manufacturing and research. Natasha graduated from Kansas State University receiving her B.S. in bakery science management with further studies in a master's program of cereal chemistry. Early in her career she held positions within the USDA Grain Marketing Research Center and AIB International, collecting and analyzing research data.
