Proper Urgent Care Coding and Documentation for Common Procedures

Urgent care centers must comply with the same coding guidelines as any other provider of outpatient services but with unique challenges.  Emergency Department has its own set of CPT® codes but not so for Urgent Care Centers (and Walk-In Clinics or Family Medicine or Pediatric offices with walk-in hours). Urgent care also performs many procedures, and correct documentation and coding are a challenge, as is knowing when a separate evaluation and management code may be billed.

Join expert speaker, Kim Huey, MJ, CHC, CPC, CCS-P, PCS, CPCO, in this interesting and informative session to get a better understanding of urgent care coding and its challenges. Let an expert help you overcome all these challenges.
