Demystify How To Report Peripheral Procedures In 2014

If your physician performs transcatheter placement of intravascular stents or retrograde stenting of the carotid or innominate arteries, you need to go to coding school for next year. That’s because with five code deletions and five code additions, CPT®; 2014 reworks everything you currently know about reporting these services.

This expert audio conference will delve into all of your peripheral updates, including upper and lower extremity coding. You’ll also tackle the Medicare Fee schedule. If you’re not certain how to tackle carotid interventions and angiographies in 2014, then you need a comprehensive overview. Join healthcare coding consultant, Terry A. Fletcher BS, CPC, CCC, CEMC, CCS, CCS-P, CMSCS, CMC, for this invaluable update.

Fletcher will supply you with:

  • Crosswalks to help you make an easy transition
  • Actual procedure reports
  • Full explanation of code updates
  • Medicare's impact on payment for 2014.

This session will help you:

  • Decipher the new Transcatheter Placement Intravascular Stents codes (37236-37239). Find out how they reflect the placement of an intravascular stent(s) including radiological supervision and interpretation.
  • Categorize the previous Cat III to Cat I Fenestrated Endovascular Repair (FEVAR) codes. The CPT® Panel accepted deletion of Cat III codes 0078T-0081T and the addition of eight new bundled Cat I codes 34841-34848 including S&I.
