CMS has announced the 2018 ICD-10-CM codes that are to be used for discharges occurring from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018, and for patient encounters occurring from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018. Medicare released the final Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) for 2018 on November 2, 2017 and Terry will look at the impact of the final MPFS, on Medicare patients and cardiology.
