Product Description
Do you know for sure what you can bill under the Global Surgery Package? If you don't, you're headed for trouble. We'll put you on the right path to reimbursement instead.
The Global Surgery Package has confused even the best of us, especially when it comes to determining what is and isn't included. But we can help straighten it all out in just an hour.
Join medical billing and coding expert Kathy Stull, CPC, CMRS, CPMA, for 60 minutes, and she'll give you the know-how you need to bill in the most efficient and compliant way.
Conference highlights include:
- Learn how to determine if procedures are inclusive with one another
- Hear about the best way to establish whether inclusive procedures can be unbundled and when they should be
- Find out how to bill those little "exceptions" everyone runs in to from time to time
- Discover how modifiers affect your payment, and which increase your risk of being audited
- Learn how to tell if you can bill an assistant, co-surgeon, or surgical team
- Find out which procedures can be billed bilaterally and the correct way to do so
- Discover what documentation should be sent with a claim, and when documentation is (and isn't) needed
- PLUS: Kathy will provide you with no-cost, universally available resources to take with you for reference even after the conference is over
Who should attend? Billers and coders, office managers
