Toni G. Cesta, Ph.D., RN, FAAN is Vice President - Patient Flow Optimization for the North Shore – Long Island Jewish Health System, an 15 hospital health care system located in Long Island, New York. In her position, Cesta is responsible at a system-wide level for identifying and correcting any barriers to patient care at the access, direct patient care and discharge points of service.
Additionally, Cesta serves as Health Care Consultant and partner in Case Management Concepts, LLC, a consulting company which assists institutions in designing, implementing and evaluating case management models, new documentation systems, and other strategies for improving care and reducing cost. Cesta completed seven years as a Commissioner for the Commission for Case Manager Certification.
