Looking for the 90760-90779 injection & infusion codes? Here’s where they are in CPT 2009. Let’s face it. For many specialties, CPT 2009 is a bit ho-hum. But for pulmonology coders, this year’s full of changes affecting outpatient and inpatient E/M, prolonged services, critical care, and injection and infusion claims. And we’ve got just the expert to help you understand those changes. If you’ve never heard Kim Huey explain E/M coding for seriously ill patients, you’re missing out on an eye-opening educational experience. In just 60 minutes, she’ll tell you all the CPT changes you need to know for 2009, and make you a sharper E/M coder besides. Topics covered:
- Cross this modifier off your list. Here’s how 2009 CPT simplifies E/M coding.
- What you must know about 99354-99357 for CPT 2009.
- 96360-96379: Crucial coding guidelines most coders will miss.
- New revenue opportunities for multiple, short inpatient E/M visits during the same day -- if you know the ropes.
- Labs and prolonged service codes: What to do with the ‘face time’ dilemma.
- Video conference critical care: Here’s the new code -- and the lowdown on which carriers might pay.
