About the Speaker

Bubba Klostermann is an Occupational Therapist, Certified Vocational Evaluator, and Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist with 34 years experience in Work Injury Rehab and Employers Services. He graduated from UT Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 1976. He worked at West Texas Rehab Center in Abilene, Texas from 1976 to 1990. He was private practice from 1990-2008 and joined the WTRC team in May 2008 as Occupational Health/Employer Services and Adult Therapy Director. He has served on many work groups and committees with Texas Department of Insurance and the Division of Workers' Compensation. He was named Texas Occupational Therapist of the Year in 1998 and was given the Distinguished Service Award in 2003, 2006, and 2009. He also is actively involved in State and National legislation dealing with Occupational and Physical Therapy. He consults with rehab clinics and employers on a national basis regarding management of medical and employer related services with an emphasis on injury prevention, documentation, and regulatory changes regarding coding/billing.
