Peggy Slagle, CPC is the manager of Billing and Compliance for the Department of Pathology at University of Nebraska Medical Center and continues as manager of Billing and Compliance for Regional Pathology Services, which is the University Hospital-based laboratory service for clients throughout the U.S. Ms. Slagle has been involved in the health care industry for more than twenty years, working in various areas including private physician offices and hospital-based physician clinics. She currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Pathology/Lab Coding Alert newsletter published by The Coding Institute.
