About the Speaker
Colleen has certifications consisting of CPC (Certified Professional Coder), CPC-H (Certified Professional Coder-Hospital and CEMC (Certified Evaluation and Management Coder) with the American Academy of Professional Coders. Colleen is a CPC-I (Certified Professional Coder-Instructor) with the AAPC since 2005. She also has the certifications of PCS (Physician Coding Specialist) and FCS (Facility Coding Specialist) with the American College of Medical Coding Specialists. She has served as an officer for the Garden State Chapter, Cherry Hill, NJ of the American Academy Professional Coders as Secretary from 2002-2003 and again in 2003-2004, President Elect from 2004-2005, President from 2005-2006, and continues to serve in an advisory capacity to the current officers. In addition, since 2008 Colleen has served as the NJ State Co-Chair for the American College of Medical Coding Specialists.
